A large part of or business, includes carrying out scheduled calibration checks and planned maintenance of customers’ weighing equipment. From experience, each of the varied industries serviced by PWS, has it’s own unique requirements in relation to calibration and maintenance. With this in mind, we adopt a flexible approach to our Service Level Agreements, tailoring them to best suit the customers’ needs.

PWS holds a database showing months of visit for all sites and dates of previous calibrations, along with other site-specific information and requirements. Our engineers will liaise directly with the plant operator a few days before the next calibration is due, to personally arrange the service visit. We fully understand the demands of the industry sectors within which we operate, and work is often carried out during shut-down or out of hours, in order to minimise disruption to production.

Written procedures for calibrations are issued by PWS and all calibrations carried out in accordance with relevant BSI / QSRMC regulations and UK Weighing Federation Codes of Practice.
